Welcome to my A Tale of Two Ancestors.  I have been researching my family since I was about 13, though much more seriously for the past couple years.  This blog chronicles my search for my ancestors from their final stopping point in Buffalo, Erie, NY, USA back through Canada, Germany, Italy, England, France, Poland and Belgium.  I focus mainly on my maternal side, as I have a great aunt and great uncle who research my paternal lines.

I also chronicle my education, both for genealogy and my master's degree in library and information science.  I am currently studying in Hamburg, Germany and will be discussing the family research I do while there.
